Bus was great, Grigorii worked well with Aliis and we had a most successful morning tour combining the s/see with the two museums. Mikkel was a good show and people appreciated the horology part of it, In retrospect, Based on exhibits, I would not take the KGB museum again - it could be done in 10-15 minutes... On the other hand, Aliis was well informed, tactful and much appreciated, by everyone. Lunch was great. we finished everything in time, trip to Riga went smooth and Grigorii was done by 7:00 PM. Latvija Hotel super,rooms good, welcome drink provided, dinner very good, birthday cake well done (thank you Tatjana). All in all a very good day. Looking forward to tomorrow.

avrei scritto più tardi perché il capogruppo è passato questa
mattina e mi ha detto che è andato tutto bene: mi ha detto che la
guida di Tallin e quella di san Pietroburgo sono state bravissime,
gli hotels erano tutti buoni e a parte Vilnius ben posizionati e i
servizi sono stati all’altezza.
Tutto
è andato per il meglio tranne la coda alla frontiera, ma sapevano
che poteva accadere.
Il
viaggio è stato quindi di gradimento per tutti sia per l’itinerario
che per i servizi.
Volevo
ringraziarti per la vs collaborazione e speriamo di sentirci presto
per futuri gruppi.

Our trip was excellent from the beginning until the end.
We didn’t get any rainy day, we have sun everyday that we were traveling, except the day we went from St. Petersburg to Tallinn.
The guide Alla is exceptionally well trained, educated and interested. She deserved the good reward we left her.
Tallinn is lovely. The people are hospitable and with a good will.
The hotel was well located and near the historic center, which has many things to be seen. We did a city tour which was very interesting and the rest of the time, we were looking at the art galleries and shops. In general, we eat very well. Also in relation to hotel's location, it was great being so close to the bus stop from which we got to Riga. I imagine that these were the reasons to put us in that specific hotel in Tallinn.
The bus to Tallinn was very comfortable, had a person to help, hot lunch and we were fortunate to find a man who guided us to get to the hotel in the historic center of Riga. That part was very difficult because we were walking pulling the bags over the cobblestones to the hotel and they were very heavy. If we had stayed at the Hotel Elizabeth you suggested, would have been much easier, because the bus made a stop one block from there on asphalt. Anyway, the hotel we chose was really well near the site of the congress that we went for.

Die Reise hat mir insgesamt sehr gut gefallen, das Wetter
war perfekt, unser Reiseleiter hat seine Sache sehr gut gemacht, er war sehr

La presente solo per ringraziarLa dei servizi offerti; in
particolare La informo che l’hotel di Riga è splendido, in pieno centro, unica pecca il fatto
che non si può arrivare con la macchina che si deve posteggiare fuori dal
centro! Ma è perfetto perché si vive la città! Anche quello di Tallinn è
risultato ottimo: stanze piccole ma pulite, ottima colazione, non in centro ma
vicinissimo, circa 500 mt.
La ringrazio ancora e La terrò in considerazione per
ulteriori soggiorni dalle Sue parti.

E' andato tutto molto bene e il viaggio rimarrà
indimenticabile; nonostante il freddo patito anche le Signore conservano un
ottimo ricordo al punto che domenica, alla gara sociale, hanno detto a tutti i
vicini di tavola (n.d.r.: circa 20 persone) che vorrebbero ritornare in Estonia
al più presto.
Per quel che riguarda le foto te ne allego qualcuna, e ti
segnalo che sul sito della Tartu Maraton sono immortalati Giorgio e Franco. Per
la cronaca loro due e il sottoscritto sono i primi 3 italiani classificati
all'arrivo.
